Microsoft Copilot Studio Training: Build AI Agents on Microsoft 365

Organisations on Microsoft 365 already have a tool for building agents. This course teaches the teams that run the systems, and business teams with a clear use case, to build agents that answer from the organisation's documents and take routine work off people's hands, within the permissions and oversight that IT sets.

What you will be able to do

  • Build an agent that answers questions from SharePoint and the organisation's documents, with citations
  • Design an agent that carries out multi-step work, such as taking a request, checking the conditions and then creating a record in the system
  • Set the permissions and the scope of data the agent can reach, in line with organisation policy
  • Publish the agent in Teams for the team to use, and measure from the usage logs whether it answers correctly
  • Know which work should be an agent and which should be an ordinary workflow

Frequently asked questions

What licence do we need?
Participants should have access to Copilot Studio in the organisation's tenant. We tell IT what needs to be enabled before the training day, and we always rehearse in a test environment first.
How is it different from the Power Automate course?
Power Automate focuses on workflows with fixed steps. This course focuses on agents that talk with people and decide based on context. Most organisations use the two together: the agent is the front door, and the workflow runs behind it.
