What you will be able to do

  • Tell chat mode and Work mode apart, and use the right one for each job
  • Hand multi-step work to AI until it produces a usable Excel file, PowerPoint deck or report
  • Connect ChatGPT to Google Drive, Gmail, Slack and the plugins your organisation uses
  • Set up scheduled tasks and triggers from email or chat, so the agent works on its own
  • Choose the model and thinking level for each job, to keep quota and cost under control

    • Setting up Work locally or in the cloud, and access to files on your computer
    • Choosing the model and thinking level for the job, to control quota and cost

Frequently asked questions

Which plan do we need?
Work mode is available on every plan in the desktop app, including the free plan, but agent work uses more quota than ordinary chat. For organisations we recommend the Business or Enterprise plan, which does not use your data to train models by default.
How is it different from the Claude Cowork course?
The same idea with a different tool. Organisations already in the ChatGPT ecosystem take this course; organisations that use Claude take Cowork. Both courses include a module that compares the two tools.
