ChatGPT Codex Training for Development Teams (Codex for Builders)
A course for development teams that want to bring Codex into real work: setting it up in a repository, handing work to it as an agent, reviewing what the agent does, and putting guardrails in place so the team can use it safely.

What you will be able to do
- Set up Codex to work with your organisation's repositories through AGENTS.md and Skills
- Hand multi-file tasks to the agent and see them through to a pull request with tests
- Review and check the code the agent writes systematically, rather than accepting it wholesale
- Use the sandbox, auto-review and network access controls appropriately
- Measure whether development really gets faster without more defects

- Measuring whether work really gets faster without more defects
ActivityWorkshop: real work from the team's backlog
Before the class
- A team that already writes code and uses git
- An account that can use Codex, and a repository you can practise on
Frequently asked questions
- What background does the team need?
- The team must already write code and use git. The course does not teach programming basics; it teaches how to work with an agent that writes code.
- Should a team that already uses Claude Code take it?
- If your organisation is in the OpenAI ecosystem, or is comparing the two, this course has a module that compares them directly. If you already use Claude Code and are happy with it, see the Claude Code Fundamentals course instead.
